  Designed highway, rail, airport, utility and drainage facilities for various clients world wide. Worked on highway projects including Highway 74 preliminary intersection designs including alignments and property takes, Highway 71 grading and drainage plans including reports and calculations, Highway 30 alignments, grading and drainage, quantities and calculations, Highway 15/40 interchange addressing construction issues, Highway 168 in Fresno on grading and drainage plans including a storm drain pump station design and irrigation siphons. All were prepared per Caltrans criteria, approved and constructed.My rail experience includes work on the north San Diego Commuter Rail Line in the early 1990s including stations, double tracking, sidings, grade separations and maintenance yards. I also worked on station improvements, including track realignment for the Mission Valley East Trolley line in north San Diego City. I worked on a preliminary study for passenger service from San Bernardino to Redlands for SANBAG. I also worked on an alignment study to provide rail service to the San Bernardino Airport.In addition I have also worked on airport projects providing drainage and utility support. I have done extensive drainage work for such projects as the South Upland Storm Drain, Orange Show Road Extension, Del Mar Drainage Remediation Project and VA Hospital Storm Drain Rehab project and Border Patrol Facility upgrades the 5 and Highway 86.   Started in the Plan Check section, checking development street improvement plans as well as all improvement plans for work within the road right-of-way including storm drain, water and sewer, grading, striping and street light plans. Also reviewed related calculations and reports supporting the designs.From July 2003 to April 2004 I worked in the Construction Inspection Division to resolve field issues as well as monitorring finacial accounts, reviewing traffic control plans and determined structural sections for reconstruction projects.From April 2004 to August 2005 I worked in the Design Section preparing plans, specs and estimates for County projects including road reconstruction, widening and the civil part for signals. I used Microstation and Eagle Point programs to perpare the plans including alignments, templates and terrain models. Show less
