  Top cities identified for operation launch in 2016 were Unnao, Lucknow, Kanpur and Varanasi. The nature of soil mining operations required 24*7 support of operations team at the local mining site near to these cities. Hence, in order to support these projects, started to hire local undergraduate talent based in these projects. The goal was to hire 1 central city lead supported by 3 local workers to run the operations across the day. Hiring for all these 4 cities was completed by late Sep 2016 which enabled us to take on projects in Q4 2016. Show less After graduating from college, invested first 6 months to develop business strategy for Vindu Construction. Networked with scores of corporate construction developers to understand residential/corporate construction growth in UP. Based on information gathered, zeroed on in the soil mining industry market which was foundation for any type of construction projects. Low capital investment costs to enter soil mining industry was another driver to focus Vindu Construction in this niche market. Next step was to breakdown construction project counts and investment by city in the UP to target specific construction developers in each city and build onsite operations team to deliver the projects starting late 2016.
