       Uploading schedules on daily basis for all 20 customers in system by tools like -“Electronic Data Interchange”. Comparing the schedules on weekly basis for all locations & intimating customers in case of any fluctuation for 820 live part numbers. Preparing: MPS (Master Production Schedule) on weekly basis & releasing the same for running of MRP (Material Requirement Planning) so as to get the raw materials. Delivery Adherence reports on weekly basis and comparing it with customer’s reports on Quarterly basis. Designing the Production Plan on the basis of Load calculated for a particular month & releasing the Shop Floor Control Plan in accordance with the Production & making sure that all the harnesses are dispatched by month end as per the mode of shipment decided. Inventory planning for finished goods done as agreed with all the customers regarding the safety stock to be kept at the warehouse in Ireland and constantly improving inventory turn ratio. Planning regularly the shipments to the warehouse in Ireland (Air & Sea Shipment every week). Procurement of material from local suppliers. Responsible for taking decisions on dispatch of goods by sea or air on weekly basis in order to minimize the freight cost, avoiding any direct dispatch to the customer on own account. Performing Dead Stock and Ageing Analysis of the items & making necessary decision i.e., to keep that stock or to scrap it. Working on the shortage list after running of MRP for next two months and getting commitment dates for each child item from purchase & then do the necessary planning. Checking all the formalities before dispatching the final product to the customer (Weight is updated, Firm order is there, Cost is there , Address of the customer is there, Stock is updated & packing standard is mentioned on the dispatch instruction). Successful Completed Audits like ISO TS 16949, Pika Pika, 3G , etc. Show less

We procure around 20% of CKD material from 52 Direct suppliers spread across the globe and 80% from one CKD supplier i.e, General Motors Korea. => Managing Supply chain. A ) Schedules to suppliers are given in two ways:-1) Traditional EDI2) Covisint (Online Supply power portal) B) CEVA is our Logistics provider having FCA contract with GM which is reviewed periodically.C) Capricorn , Sharp are our CHA ( customs handling agents )D) TCI , GATI , DHL , Supreme are our Local freight forwarders. => Inventory Management.Two control points for inventory analysis.DOH – Days on hands => for a particular part’s stock, how many production days are covered.
