      Serve as the principal senior executive advisor to AOUS leadership, the courts, federal judges, Judiciary officials, committees and subcommittees of the U.S. Judicial Conference, and advisory groups on all functions related to DEIA, anti-discrimination, and reasonable accommodations. Oversee a broad range of advisory and operational services directly supporting human resources, fair employment practices, and EEO activities in federal court units located throughout the nation, including policy interpretations, employee engagement, DEIA and Belonging education, cultural celebration ceremonies and programs, workforce analysis, pipeline development, talent management, and recruitment and outreach training and support. Manage a judiciary-wide year-round paid internship program targeting undergraduate students from underrepresented and underserved communities. Efficiently and effectively plan and manage personnel funding, contracts, workspace, equipment, and other resources placed under the oversight of the office. Represent and speak on behalf of the AOUSC with senior officials of different government organizations and private organizations regarding significant DEIA issues affecting the Judiciary. Foster and maintain productive relationships with court executives and staff, federal judges, officials in the executive and legislative branches, and representatives of private industry. Monitor the external environment and advise federal Judiciary leaders about changes in federal human resources and EEO policies and laws, as well as evolving case law surrounding DEI programs and best practices that may impact federal Judiciary personnel and judges. Serve as a thought leader regarding the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks associated with DEIA programs and initiatives within the federal Judiciary.
