  iX engineers (Pty) Ltd has officially acquired the Public Infrastructure (PI) Business from WorleyParsons RSA (Pty) Ltd and the Consulting Business of Black Jills Engineers, a transaction that demonstrated that Enterprise Development can be successful.iX engineers (Pty) Ltd is a majority black-owned Consulting Engineering company going forward as a going concern on the PI projects done by the business unit in WorleyParsons and the projects of the consulting business of Black Jills Engineers, effective 1st October 2016. iX engineers will provide professional services for the design, development and through-life-support of public infrastructure, including roads, rail, dams, water supply, water treatment, wastewater, buildings, urban infrastructure, power transmission and distribution infrastructure.iX engineers currently have majority equity held by black employees and in excess of 35% of its shares held by black women. The share balance is held by Senior Management. Ms Lebo Leshabane is the CEO of iX engineers. iX engineers shall continue to provide services to existing clients as a going concern, with its nearly 300 employees across offices in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Kimberley and Upington.
