Everyday tasks included developing Visual Management, 5S improvements, Auditing, Gemba walks and facilitating hundreds of improvement ideas generated by all members of the business. Having varied business knowledge, I was frequently called upon as an experienced member who can support and lead projects hitting key targets while understanding departmental needs. These projects involved data analysis, continuous improvement, and health and safety. These include: - Facilitating successful onboarding and seamless deliveries of customers' stock from a closing sister site while controlling the movement of half a dozen large machines in and out of the factory. - SMED and 5S activities. - International group project looking at the cost of overproduction and implementing measures to reduce it. - Providing experience to a sister site in Ireland to optimise their raw material purchases and decreasing their costs.
