Responsible for local operation and monitoring of Facility equipment from outside the control room and assists the Shift Lead in the control room when needed. Coordinates with the maintenance team members to ensure reliable and efficient use of equipment down time.2. Uses Facility operating procedures and equipment technical manuals to start, stop, adjust or modify equipment operations to ensure all equipment is operated within the recommended operating range.3. Analyze, monitor and interpret data to know the system conditions.4. Reads meters and gauges or automatic recording devices at specified intervals to verify Facility operating conditions and maximize Facility efficiency.5. Immediately responds to emergency situation during power plant operation.6. Visually inspects and listens to equipment to assist in determining need for repair or adjustment.7. Read gauges to verify that units are operating at specified capacity, and listen for sounds warning or mechanical malfunction.8. Able to respond correctly to the CRE instruction in the field.9. Assists in the maintenance of equipment by cleaning, adjusting, tightening, performing preventative or corrective maintenance, and identifying equipment in need of corrective maintenance. Writes and submits corrective work orders for approval.10. Keep Shift Lead fully informed of unusual conditions or damaged equipment.11. Monitor the system parameters, e.g. pressure, temperature, flow rate, level through gauges and metering devices12. Familiarize the piping and valves to be opened and closed during start-up, shutdown operations and during preventive maintenance.13. Create defect report noted in the unit and report to the Shift Supervisor.14. Conduct punch listing based on P&ID & in actual design.
