These concerns ranged from traffic to unsatisfactory experiences with agencies.Helped craft the County Executive's response to public issues such as removing Confederate monuments in the County and other current events.Appointed as liaison to the Hispanic and LGBTQ+ communities and moderated meetings between these groups and County agencies.Organized the County’s annual Hispanic Heritage celebration and the selection process for the County Executive’s Hispanic Leadership Award.Represented Howard County Government in the efforts to organize the County’s first LGBTQ+ Pride Festival.Collaborated with County agencies to improve the government’s accessibility to the LGTQ+, earning a score of over 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index in 2018.Appointed as Administrator for the Elkridge High School Task Force, a board chartered to identify property for a new high school.Managed Emergency Operations Call Center during 2018 Ellicott City Flood.
