  Student intern

  I worked as a Mechanical Design Intern at Space Technology and Aeronautical Rocketry (STAR) from 28th June 2022 to 28th July 2022 under their Virtual Training and Internship Program(VTIP). I worked in a team on Design & Simulation of Static Test Pad for Solid Rocket Motor. We worked in a virtual mode and successfully designed the Static Test Stand for testing of solid rocket motors of class F to K on the Fusion 360 with the required specifications and the simulations. Along with that, I also learned the software like Proteus, Autodesk Eagle and Arduino IDE in our initial training phase.Next, was the task of Design & Simulation of High Powered Rocket which would employ a non-pyro technique for the recovery system of the Rocket. We designed a High Powered Rocket that would be propelled by Estes F-15 motor. The simulations for the mechanical design were performed using the Open Rocket software and the Rocket and Non-pyro technique design was done using Fusion 360. Show less

  Student intern

  I worked as a Student Intern at Jet Aerospace Space Research Center. I and my team of 4 members designed and developed two UAV's of STOL type and developed codes for various sensors attached to a 1U Nano Satellite using the Arduino CC software. We also attended a 2-Day workshop on development of Quadcopter Drones and also developed one. We also got an opportunity to learn briefly about airport management and air marshalling techniques.
