Through a variety of programs and engagements, including U.S. educational and cultural exchanges, regional exchanges, and seed funding, YSEALI seeks to build the leadership capabilities of youth in the region, strengthen ties between the United States and Southeast Asia, and nurture an ASEAN community.       Collaborating with 24 District TB Units in Ho Chi Minh City and the biggest TB Hospital in the southern part of Vietnam to deliver the outcome for MDR-TB studies. My tasks include:- Understanding and training investigators on the study protocol.- Budget negotiations and management. - Coordinating all aspects of the study, from logistics to reporting.- Facilitating communication within the team and overseeing contracts with study sites.- Providing real-time budgetary reports to PIs.- Managing logistics for study setup and compliance with OUCRU and Oxford policies.- Monitoring study progress, identifying issues, and reporting to PIs.- Participating in group meetings to share experiences and contribute to team knowledge.       I manage the phase III TB vaccine M72/AS01E trial at OUCRU-Vietnam. Vietnam is one of seven countries participating in this large-scale trial. This trial funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute & Wellcome.

      Systematic review and meta-analysis of the diagnostic accuracy of targeted next-generation sequencing technologies for the detection of drug resistance among people diagnosed with TB. The results of my work have been used to inform the new WHO guideline for MRD-TB detection using targeted next-generation sequencing.
