      I have started my Professional career in L&T as a DET Maintenance. In my role I was involved both in Breakdown and Preventive maintenance of both Conventional and CNC machines, EOT cranes, Utilities for its Machine Shop, Fabrication Shop and Assembly Shop ( IM - Industrial Machinery Side)The key responsibilities during my tenure in L&T are -◾ Up-keeping machineries, utilities and equipments in L&T Kansbahal, IM workshops ( Machine, Fabrication and Assembly Shop)◾ Organize Preventive maintenance activities in all three areas. I was responsible for Annual Preventive Maintenance plans.◾Capex Activities: I was involved in contract drafting, scope finalization for critical Capex Activities both Retrofitting and Upgradation of Machines, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of Machine and High value items like a 50 MT crane.◾Geometrical Leveling, Testing and Alignment of Machine: I have done levelling, testing and Alignment of both Conventional and CNC machine. Some key equipments are CNC Pama SR-4, AT-130 (Italy), Skoda Floor Boring, L-45, SB-50, NH-26, Peggard HMT, VDF, WMW - Presses and many more.◾KPI and Data Analysis: I was accountable to capture and analyse MTBF, MTTR, Availability data of all critical equipments. I was also responsible for analysis of Failure and monitoring of Inventory - Consumables.◾ TPM and 5S: I was the TPM and 5S champion for L&T IM Maintenance department. I was involved in TPM Tag removal, Analysis, OEE calculation and Autonomous Planning for key TPM machines. Show less

      In this role I was accountable for Manufacturing Of Pressure Parts in Header Product line. As a leader of this critical product line I was responsible for end to end shop management. My key responsibilities include -◾ Managing a team of 15 Engineers and 160 Technicians working in a 24X7 operating rhythm in GE Power's Durgapur -Header and Machine Shop.◾Ensure Shop is operating in its optimal level of performance monitored through smart Bowler charts and KPI dashboards. I was successful in improving all key KPIs. 15% In Productivity, Zero Lost Work Days in CY-20,21, COPQ < 0.4 %, Best Shop 5S for 12 months in total.◾Project Deliveries: During my tenure we have completed 100% OTD of key projects like NTPC Telangana, Patratu, Uppur, Panki, Maitree, Udangudi 660 MW TPPs.◾NPD: New Product Development and optimization have been one of my core strengths. During my tenure I have completed successfully FGD projects like NTPC Sipat, Simhadri. Critical pressure parts of IOCL Haldia, KRL Kochi Refinery, NTPC Tanda. I have been successful in design and implementation of some critical process improvement like Header Bow correction through Hydraulic Press, Crane Less set-up of Header & Pipes, CNC drilling modification to CNC Milling.◾Lean Deployment & CI: With my experience as a lean leader I was able to bring about many performance improvement in our shop. During my tenure this shop started its operation and made a record 1000 MT delivery in one month.◾Furnace Operation : Responsible for operating all Furnace Operation raging from 60 to 120 MT SR furnace including a continuous heating Furnace. I was involved in retrofit of two Furnaces during my tenure.◾Shop stores and Consumable Dispensing: In this area I was accountable for smooth operation of four shop stores including a Tool Crib and two Electrode - Consumables Stores that operates in 24X7 operating rhythm.◾Low-Cost outsourcing of Services: For streamlining operation and cost reduction I was successful in contract drafting, vendor evaluation and finalization and order placement in many functions like Furnace Operation, Store Management, Hiring of Trailers, Hyd.
