      I learned how to build teams and make and accomplish goals. I learned the difference between a manager and a leader. I worked in a team to plan to build a disc golf course at Lee Creek part in Van Buren, Ar. We got with course designers and made an outline. We made a cost as well as a benefit analysis to the community. We met with community leaders to gain funding.

      Berts was many high-schoolers first job. As the manager I promoted a good work ethic and instilled customer service skills in the young men and women I hired. I managed up to 28 employees in the summer months. I was in charge of the on-boarding and training of new employees. Like my employees this was a new experience for me as well. This was my first position as a manager/leader. I made schedules for the month. I communicated with vendors for inventory needs. Performed nightly ledger inputs and verified that the ledger was balanced and accurate before submitting to owners. I worked with owners to relocate certain merchandise in order to cut down on theft and to better promote sales and slow moving inventory.
