Incorporated a previously decentralized service by introducing automation technology to streamline the workflow and simplify daily operations, subsequently updating procedures, increasing lending percentages, and decreasing the turn around time for borrowed materials. Recommended, initiated purchase, and implemented the ARIEL document delivery system. Established and maintained reciprocal agreements with local libraries and joined new ILL consortia to secure free Interlibrary Loans for the Iona College Community. Taught library instruction classes utilizing various types of instructional media for levels ranging from English 101 to Senior Seminars. Oversee ongoing ANGEL training for faculty and students, including the development of an online demo course for student orientation; the development of online and campus based training for faculty on new versions, equipment upgrades, technical policies, and course and account related procedures.
