  Activities and Societies: Graduate Teaching Assistant Graduate Research Assistant My Master's thesis project, under Dr. Graham Peers, was to evaluate the use of cyanobacteria for bioremediation of nutrients from municipal wastewaters. In addition to research, I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for an Introductory Biology Lab.

  Activities and Societies: Honors Undergraduate Research Scholar Honors Program Kappa Sigma Fraternity Studied Biomedical Science with an academic and research emphasis in Neurobiology. The lab focused on hypothalamic circuitry related to food intake and energy balance, but I was challenged to explore the neural circuitry for these systems at the level of the brainstem. My specific research project culminated into my Honor's Thesis, with a more comprehensive manuscript under preparation.
