I helped with many steps in the investment casting process including -layering wax molds with plaster, coarse sand, and fine sand, -heating bronze ingots to 1,800 degrees F, -pouring molten bronze into molds, -removing figures from molds and using body grinders and other tools to remove excess bronze (air channels), -sand blasting figures and patina finish.
