  Construction Supervisor

  Coordinated activities between all the site builders / contractors.I was responsible to supervise American / Mediterranian style houses in a housing development neighbourhood. I supervised construction of core / shell and interior works of the first 50 buildings in 10 Ha of land. This project was one of most unique community housing post war 1998 - 1999 projects in Prishtinë. Geothermal heating for each of the houses was a new thing towards energy sustainability in Kosovo.

  USAID KPEP Kosovo Private Enterprise Program. As construction sector lead I was responsible to create activities to stimulate growth and competitiveness in the private sector, more specifically in construction materials manufacturing / processing and architectural / engineering sectors. In construction materials, focus was to support markets that had more chance to become competitive localy and in the region. I have been working with a group of individual private construction materials producers / processors to increase production, employment, sales, substitute imports and stimulate exports. I also supported Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning MESP Board in a process to establish system for professional examination and licensing of architects and engineers. Bylaw of the construction law was developed and approved as another achieved result. Show less

  Architect / Model Court Specialist

  USAID EROL (Effective Rule of Law) Worked in the component MCP Model Court Program. As part of Project Management team we have remodeled and renovated 16 existing courthouses all over Kosovo (including Supreme and Appeal courts) aiming to increase transparency, public access and efficiency of the justice system. Reviewed Architectural and Engineering Designs and monitored the Design and Construction process of the Architectural Engineering and Renovation companies.
