      Service Design Team Coach

      The 'Student Service Design Challenge (SSDC) 2023' was a competition initiated and supported by Philips Experience Design, and organized together with the Service Design College in collaboration with IBM and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. As part of the collaboration with IBM, 20 Team Coaches from IBM were paired with the 20 student teams (selected out of 90) competing in 2023. As Team Coach for my team 'Makka Pakka,' I coached them through service design tools and methodologies to meet competition requirements. My mentee team was among the top 10 finalists, and were especially commended for meticulous research and comprehensive system mapping. ‘Makka Pakka’ consists of 4 students from Tongji University (China). For the SSDC, they worked on improving the happiness and well-being of breastfeeding mothers in China. Show less
