  Worked on a design and build project for a new community center in San Francisco, Nuevo Leon. Collaborating with Grupo Garza Ponce, a construction company located in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. The community center is the first of its kind, by breaking away from the cookie cutter style structures provided in the area. With additional input provided by Syska Hennessy a MEP firm, Odell an architectural firm, and Walter P. Moore a structural firm, the community center will be utilized as a gathering area for a new community of roughly 50,000 people.As a student designer, I assisted in the design process of the building which includes: architectural and structural design, with a group of seven other students. The work ranged from gathering data about the local community and materials available to using Rhinoceros and Revit to generate a computer aided design to present to the client. Show less
