  Executive Air Engineer

  The unit provided flying and engineering training for Commando Helicopter Force, and a rapid Marine Counter-Terrorism response. I managed 5 departments and led ~200 engineers, logisticians, and support staff, as well as being responsible for 12 x 120-million-pound helicopters.

  Heading a school that trained 300+ junior aircraft engineers a year, with a staff of 35+ teachers, engineers, and support staff. My organisation formed part of an engineering college, which catered for the entire Royal Navy's air engineers.

  Chief Learning and Programme Officer

  The Training standards and design organisation built and assured the training program for a workforce of ~5000 aircraft engineers. As both the executive officer and head of design, I led a team comprising 30+ senior, cross-discipline engineers, and education professionals.

  Senior Consultant

  Providing a range of engineering and management consulting services to Dstl, the UK government's premier science and technology organisation. Because of my background and skills, I primarily operated in the UAS, Autonomy and HMI space.

  Established and led a large, multi-disciplinary team across the organisation and industry partners, delivering a multi-million-pound project to diverse customers. Developed innovative solutions to enhance aviation capabilities in challenging environments, including a Common Simulation Environment with advanced simulation and augmented reality systems. Commissioned an enterprise-level data and product management tool to link solutions to customer needs, providing detailed analysis for decision-making and prioritisation. Show less
