      I was European Finance Director in charge of the finances of 27 subsidiaries with a Turnover of $750mI was a key member of the European Management Team heavily involved in the acquisition of Subsidiaries costing $150m. I was in charge of recruiting and developing Financial Controllers for all the subsidiaries in all the countries.I raised $55m vendor finance from our Key Telco equipment supplier.I ran a team who implemented a European Financial accounting system.I integrated all new subsidiaries as they were purchased.       I was a key member of the management team that turned what was a large loss making comping into a breakeven business which we then split into the UK part and the rest of Europe and sold to two different parties 2 years later.The original investors made a very substantial return on the moeny they invested in the business when it was sold.I did many presentations as part of the beauty parade for the sale and directly increased the price that was eventually paid by the purchasers as a result of the confidence that they got from the Financial due diligence.I helped transform the Group's cashflow as a result of working hard on redcuing Debtor days to below contractual terms.       I was engaged to wind down and liquidate the remaining subsidiaries left after the sale of the main businesses in UK and Europe.This involved working closely with Tax advisors re the unwinding of large inter-company balances and then getting clearance for liquidations from Tax authorities across Europe.I had to prepare liquidation accounts for entities across Europe and complete and file the deregistration documents.
