Based on the results of the RCA, successfully used my influencing skills to get third-party equipment providers to address design faults and third-party vessel or terminal operators to address training or other operations deficiencies to ensure the effective management of the company’s assets when needed. • Managed the development and implementation of the Group maritime activities self-assessment tool to assist and support assets in identifying gaps in their management and execution of maritime-related activities against Group requirements and industry best practice guidance to ensure the effective management of marine risk across the company.• Facilitated the development of a risk-based assurance plan based upon a quantitative risk model to improve the understanding and quantification of maritime risk across deep-sea and offshore marine activities. Responsibilities also included LNG ship loading operations, LNG shipping requirements of sales and purchase agreements, maritime security interface with the United States Coast Guard, and emergency response and incident management planning for the LNG carrier transit and the interface between LNG carrier and marine terminal, including LNG loading operations.• Led the project through the United States Coast Guard regulatory waterway suitability assessment process for LNG vessel transits with the project receiving a positive letter of recommendation from the United States Coast Guard in 2018.• Acted as the leading authority within the Pembina Pipeline Corporation, the parent company, for all marine-related design and operational matters.
