    • Columbia Sportswear Company

      Aug 2016 - Jan 2017
      E-Commerce Merchandise Coordinator

As a part of a young but stable e-commerce department at Columbia Sportswear I provided cross functional support to the merchandise team as a whole in the form of projects that ranged from delivering current and future product merchandise strategies, to giving feedback on department processes and communication practices. Daily tasks were centered around improving and updating site presentation for the present and future, which directly affects sales and profitability as seasonal directives came and went. While completing tasks, feedback was given to either reinforce current practices or circumvent for future solutions. Creative interpretation is used when building certain custom parts of the site for the purpose of improving customer experience and satisfaction with the site. Incremental positive website performance was monitored from a season’s beginning marketing push to its analytical end results, this was achieved by focusing on being accurate and efficient to achieve a clean and easy to use website marketplace. Coordination at this level required organization, communication and an eye for detail, which I provided with a commitment to daily, incremental success.Deliverables:o Constructed webpages filled with product on a daily basis drawing from current selling data and merchandising initiatives meant to drive traffic, engagement and sales. o Facilitated a comprehensive training session regarding our e-commerce platform, Demandware, which helped on-board two new coordinators, and increased competency for my department’s buyers.o Aided in the website product launch of a limited edition Columbia and Lucasfilm clothing collaboration from the film, Star Wars: Rogue One, which yielded nearly half a million dollars in e-commerce revenue.o Built product pages for Columbia.com’s outlet affiliates exclusive program, allowing third party website to advertise Columbia.com product to sell with discounted coupon codes, contributing to sales of $902k in Q4 2016 alone.
