  Army Reserve Soldier

  Currently an enlisted infantry soldier in the 4th Battalion, Duke Of Lancaster's Regiment having transferred across from the 3rd Battalion, the Royal Welsh Regiment in August 2020. Completed numerous overseas exercises in the USA, Germany, and Lithuania, whilst being attached to Regular Army units, and was mobilised and deployed as part of Operation Rescript during the COVID-19 Pandemic for four months.Attached to Manchester and Salford University Officer Training Corps from September 2018 to June 2019, conducting officer and leadership development training and completed Modules A and B of the Army Reserve Commissioning Course Short having achieved the top grade at Army Officer Selection Board Briefing. Was also chosen to take part in, and completed, a five-month international exchange between my parent unit and a US Officer academy, the Virginia Military Institute, to train with the US Army’s Reserve Officer Training Corps.Experienced working as part of a team of adult professionals of various levels of ability and knowledge, backgrounds, and ages in order to achieve time sensitive objectives. Moreover, at all times I have acted with professionalism, integrity, and discipline. Regularly taken on positions of leadership and responsibility in training events, routinely demonstrating positive critical thinking and decision making abilities in physically and mentally demanding and stressful conditions to quickly create plans, deciding which resources to utilise to achieve specific effects, and choose the plan most likely to succeed efficiently.   Envisaged and led Enactus Salford’s social enterprise Project Code Pink, which is a project that delivers a tailored women’s health education programme to young male learners in year 6 in primary schools, with the aim to reduce the stigma surrounding Periods in an effort to create a safer and more welcoming environment for young female learners.The project was a huge success, as evidenced by the social enterprises result in Enactus UK's national competition, where Project Code Pink reached the semi-final stage, being among the top 25 of 219 social enterprise projects, most of which had been running for numerous years, whereas Project Code Pink had been started just eight months earlier.
