Worked as an RF Survey Engineer for an extent of seven months, the tasks included Deciding Exact Location for Cell site, height of GSM and microwave antenna by using GPS, Map Grid and Map Info Professional software’s and submitting the reports with field records accordingly. Worked as a Transmission Design Engineer for an extent of five months the tasks undertaken included checking the link between various Micro Wave sites and finding the obstacles by using Global Mapper and RL Tool Software’s and submitting the LOS reports accordingly. Responsible for assigning, troubleshooting and monitoring power equipment’s using E-terra Modeler for accurate data to visual display mapping and implementing precise range for units at the LDC (load dispatch center). Supervising post installation point to point, to test the accuracy of the remote data at the Load center from the substation and vice versa. Supervising Installation / replacement of modems (Nokia to Westermo) TD36 at the substation and TR36 at the LDC. Assessing, recording and rectifying the Noise, Attenuation, Cross talk (near and far) for the SEC (Saudi Electricity Company/ National Grid) media provided.
