  Lead the UVM Human Resource Partner unit by developing and implementing strategies that ensure positive relationships and partnerships with all levels of faculty and staff. Provided guidance to employees experiencing challenging situations including medical issues, workplace conflict, job loss, job performance issues and financial hardships. Assist employees and beneficiaries in accessing Long Term Disability and Life Insurance benefits. Counsel employees regarding post retirement and 403b retirement savings benefits, ensuring their full understanding of eligibility, practices, IRS rules, union contracts and university policy. Serve as administrator for UVM retirement savings plan, verifying and authorizing withdrawals, loans, rollovers and hardships.
