  Since joining IFS Securities in 2013, Ms. Avery coordinated investment banking business development with Institutional Account Investment Managers, CFOs, Finance Directors, Municipal Advisors and Municipal Treasury Managers. Ms. Avery as a banker, has with worked with numerous state and local governments, school districts, development authorities, water and sewer systems and higher education institutions on municipal debt financings and capital market transactions. Prior to joining IFS, for 11 years Ms. Avery served in various executive, planning and marketing capacities within the University System of Georgia. In addition, she has extensive experience with media relations, government entities and the non-profit sector. Angela holds an MPA from the University of West Georgia, and a BA in Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Ms. Avery is registered with FINRA and holds a Series 52 Municipal Finance license.
