      I worked as a senior reservoir engineer for reservoir simulation of D. naturally fractured reservoir studying immiscible and miscible gas injection using a dual porosity numerical model in E100 and E300. I was also a senior member of the NIOC secretariat office for IOR/EOR programs and contributed to R&R Reporting I worked in multidisciplinary teams for basic reservoir engineering studies performing rock typing, fluid analysis and EoS modeling, production data analysis, material balance modeling and nodal analysis.I conducted fluid modeling of asphaltene precipitation using CMG-Winprop, as well as learned geological modeling using PETREL and SGeMS

      As a critical member of the technical assurance team in the petroleum and CO2 storage resourcesdepartment, I lead internal audits and assurance reviews for Global Portfolio Valuation, Asset Acquisition (pre- & post-acquisition), Annual Reserves Reporting and Trading Projects.I perform workstation reviews of reservoir models underpinning the resource evaluation numbers, conduct independent analysis and provide expert support in numerical reservoir simulation and probabilistic forecasting.Examples of the independent analysis include:• Production forecast for a late-life gas asset with several cyclic well performance, to provide an end-offield life and low case reserves estimation impacting asset amortization• Investigating the well calibration process in an assisted history matching (AHM) exercise for history to prediction transition, of a brown oil field FDP.• Resolving the issue of matching condensate production (underestimating the actual) in a compositional gas model to be used for CCS,• Estimation of condensate to gas ratio (CGR) in the gas cap of an oil field, in absence of a gas capsample, and entitlements to liquid only.My current focus is on assessment of estimation methodologies of CO2 storage resources usingcompositional reservoir simulation (for depleted gas fields and saline aquifers) and standard reservoir simulation packages (tNavigator, CMG-GEM, E300 and IX). This includes:• Developing proper framework of uncertainty and optimization (U&O) to estimate the range of P90, P50 & P10 probabilistic storage resources for safe sequestration,• Handling of non-CO2 constituents in storage reporting,• Incorporating thermal effects from CO2 injection on caprock integrity in coupled models,• Tempo-spatial blind testing of depleted gas reservoirs history matched models before subjecting them to a mechanism change under CCS.I actively provide coaching to less experienced reservoir engineers for the preparation of the capability development assessments. Show less As a staff reservoir engineer in the multi-disciplinary teams, I critically contributed to delivering several development projects and supporting non-operated assets.• I conducted the reservoir engineering activities for the K. gas condensate over-pressured reservoir study which led to a Reserves addition and production ramp-up• I worked as reservoir engineer for the development of the compositional Sarawak Liquid Integrated Network model of the carbonate and clastic gas fields in the region. I successfully delivered the fluid characterization and material balance models built using PVTSim & PETEX IPM suite that was integrated into the RESOLVE® with Hysys© process simulator• My work on updating the dynamic model for B. carbonate gas field demonstrated possible communication of the producing zone with the deeper layer which was previously identified as an infill opportunity. An integrated analysis using compositional tracking vs time, Rate transient analysis and sensitizing transmissibility of a baffle zone vs. time indicated possible capillary breach. These findings brough significant insight for better understanding of the field both for the infill project and an ongoing storage development project for future CCS development.• Additionally, I successfully delivered the reservoir simulation outcome of the tract participation (TP) estimation for R field, for unitization discussions with Sarawak Shell. The dynamic model was enumerated using available data and the static model. Other deliverables include delivery of C.P. late-life gas field FFR leading to a very-low-abandonment pressure project final investment decision, Reservoir engineering focal for non-operated joint venture projects. Contributed to the reservoirsimulation, the probabilistic dynamic modeling, and the condensate forecasting guidelines. Also led and produced a dynamic modeling workflow for the numerical simulation of thin bedded clastic reservoirs. Show less As a senior reservoir engineer for full field simulation of S. Oil field, offshore thinly laminated sand reservoir, I performed fluid & rock analysis and modeling, water, and gas injection studies, potential iWAG and CO2 enhanced recovery studies, assisted history matching using MEPO and SLB IX software, and feasibility study of ICV completion in horizontal wells for the oil rim development.
