  Worked as an editing intern in the offices of the Saranac Review, SUNY Plattsburgh's literary journal. Filed, read, and evaluated incoming manuscripts for placement in the journal. Also did clerical work in the process of communicating with submitting writers and other literary journals to promote the Saranac Review and establish it within the literary community. Helped organize and recorded minutes for meetings of the SUNY Plattsburgh chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the National English Honor Society. Also dealt with allocation of funds and calculation of event costs in my position as Treasurer. Assisted for the course Examining Diversity Through Film. Helped with lectures and running classroom equipment. Worked with students as a class and one-on-one to broaden their understanding of ethnic and cultural diversity in the United States.
