  Student ambassador

  As a Student Ambassador at Wilberforce Sixth Form College I helped the marketing department during open events by showing prospective students around the college. I also assisted the marketing department during school visits. As part of my ambassador role I also managed the Student Ambassador social media pages. The Student Ambassador Instagram account was launched in November 2018, and my role for that account was to design the graphics and the visuals. When the Facebook and Twitter accounts were introduced, my role was to oversee the content being published- ensuring that the tone of the messages were in line with the main college accounts.   Work placement student

  As part of my studies, I undertook a work placement within the Tenant Participation Team at Hull City Council. Alongside another student, our placement project was to create a series of informational YouTube videos that could be used to show and inform council tenants how to perform certain tasks- two of these being "How to report anti-social behaviour" and "How to pay rent".

  Overseeing the digital engagement with tenants and residents. Worked for a number of teams within Adult Social Care, providing administrative support where needed. Roles included covering phone lines for Brokerage, obtaining bed vacancy figures for Commissioning, minute taking for several departments, and providing a reception service to the Adult Social Care and Public Health Directorate. Worked with the Housing Learning & Development team to support the training, learning and development needs for staff across Housing. Developed a new evaluation system to allow us to capture training course/conference evaluation to determine whether it was effective for staff/managers/the team, but also whether the course was value for money.
