  During school and university holidays I have been fortunate enough to work for periods of time ranging from one to four weeks at a game/nature lodge called Nottens Bush Camp in the Sabi Sands Nature Reserve (Previously, Sabi Sands Game Reserve). The main role was primarily focused on guest care and satisfaction and entailed communicating with guests throughout their stay, checking in with them before/after meals and during the day between game drives. This was accompanied by making sure services were timely delivered. My second role was as a game tracker and involved going on game drives with the guests, communicating during the drive and sharing knowledge about the bush and animals. Show less

  Fortunate to intern at Coca Cola Peninsula Beverages during my vacation work for four weeks under Mike Bigalke and Allan Hunt. The main activities involved the identification and suggestion of improvements with regards to the production line processes of one of the bottling lines that was underperforming at the time of the internship. Time-studies were conducted on the production line and some statistical analysis was in the pipeline for the bottling plant.
