In this role, I was responsible for overseeing the strategic revision and enhancement of various platforms under the media group, including Goobjoog News in both Somali and English, GoolFM, Goobjoog FM, Goobjoog TV, and the Goobjoog Media Academy, among others.   The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. YALI Regional Leadership Centers (RLCs) are located at higher education institutions in sub-Saharan Africa and offer leadership training programs to young leaders. The RLCs are a project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in close partnership with The MasterCard Foundation and other private sector partners.I got trained in YALI’s Civic Leadership track from June 3rd 2019 to 28th of June 2019 at YALI Regional Leadership Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
