      -
      Bachelor's degree geology/earth science, general

Missoula is an awesome town, and I loved studying Geology; it's just a great subject to learn. It opened up the world for me, as it allowed me to obtain work in Liberia, West Africa, and all over the Western US and bits of the Midwest. While in Liberia I saved my money and vacation time and that translated to two months in Europe over two different trips.

      Associate's degree electronics

Activities and Societies: Eta Kappa Nu I was in the second-to-last class to get this degree from U of N. The following year it transferred to TMCC. I began working at the U of N full-time my last semester and was employed there for 14 years.

  • Experience

    • Bioquest

      Nov 1997 - Jul 2004
Applications engineer / production manager / operations manager

This job allowed me to grow from an Applications Engineer into management. I wore a lot of hats, which I truly enjoyed. We had a talented team and created new technology on a very limited budget. That was fun: we answered a lot of questions never before asked and figured out the quirks of a complex electrochemical product. These were some of the best years of my working life, and I'll always be grateful to Mike, Caba, Emil, and Ray for being such great partners and mentors.
