      Organized and established a highly profitable mortgage brokerage and led company to growth in excess of as many as 3 offices and 2,000,000 in annual revenues. Brokerage reached profitability within 13 months, more than 15 months ahead of schedule. Title company reached profitability with 6 months of opening.  Led senior management business-level discussion and decisions involving business vision and strategy, enterprise-level decisions, standardization of best practices, and project governance oversight. Managed administrative, legal, origination, and closing functions for both the brokerage and the title company. Conducted regular manager’s meetings to discuss production and how to increase sales. Held accountability and reviews for all employees and managers.  Developed strategies to improve work flow of originating and submitting loan files to underwriting. Hired 25+ loan officers and 3 processors to implement new strategy.  Conducted weekly sales trainings to employees to improve their ability with clients. Conducted 2 week long orientations/trainings upon initial hire. ACHIEVEMENTS:  Hired & trained loan officers, processors, title agents, & closers in the art of selling, originating, processing & closing of residential loan transactions.  Derby City Financial had some of the best pull through ratios in the industry as well as a phenominal reputation of good, clean loan files. Took the company from an old fax and paper file system, to completely paperless and email computer system. Conncected all branches thru VOIP and VPN’s. Developed and implemented a plan to get marketing specialists tranined and ready to pass the national and state exams to become licensed mortgage professionals.  Hired and trained several loan officers who went on to open their own successful brokerages.  Took company from closing 2-3 loans a month and 435,000 in volume to 40 loans a month and 5,800,000 volume in just 2 years. Show less During my tenure with Derby City Financial, I was also a loan advisor as well. When initially starting the company, I was the one sole producer. I was closing more than $20,000 in monthy fee volume, which lead to opening an office, other branch offices, and then opening Consumer Title Group. ACHIEVEMENTS:  Became proficient in originating/processing of all government and conventional loans. Won Gold, Silver, and Bronze status with Countrywide for outstanding production. I have a database of over 3000 closed loans which I continue to get repeat business from. Built relationships with builders, realtors, financial planners, and attorneys.
