Managed over 75 contracts, valued at over 1.8 million in support of force modernization. Oversaw requisitioning, receipt, storage and transportation of supplies and equipment; planned, organized, and directed movement resulting in a 90% on-time delivery rate. Provided oversight of a $5.5B materials program consisting of Supply, Property, Ammunition, Maintenance and Logistics Automation for Army units in Northern Iraq Managed the pickup and line haul of critical equipment from various locations throughout Iraq to Kuwait and Germany. Directed force modernization from SPBS-R to PBUSE for three battalions and brigade, streaming property book procedures. Nov 2005 - Aug 2007U.S Armor Center and SchoolServed as the primary logistics advisor to the senior director for training brigade comprised of three Cavalry Squadrons, a FORSCOM Engineer Battalion, and one separate troop. In charge of planning and coordinating external logistics support for the Regiment’s 1,800 assigned Soldiers and employees and maintained a $ 1 million budget in operational cost. Demonstrated expertise in property accountability; executed six iterations of the Regimental Inspection Program as the lead logistics inspector and subject matter expert on Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) standards that rendered a significant reduction in lost and unaccounted for equipment. Facilitated/instructed unit supply/property book unit supply enhanced (PBUSE) training to over 75 warrant officers, NCOs and five civilian employees to improve logistics quality management and maintain data integrity for combat readiness. Planned, coordinated and supervised the transfer of $ 5 million of training equipment from Fort Knox to Fort Benning and Fort Sill. Requested, received and redistributed over $300 million of equipment filling critical shortage. Personally responsible for the logistics effort supporting the activation, and basing of a engineer battalion. Created all logistics procedures and accounts including property books, funding, Class of supplies, and real property. Assisted in the management and oversight of the Regiment 18,544 pieces of equipment valued at over $1.2 billion. Directed requirements and develop plans for punctual requisition, receipt, maintenance and inventory management services to customers. Coordinated logistics plans and identified the cause and impact of delays; adjusted plans and schedules accordingly resulting in a 10% decrease in late requirements Served as the Regimental S4 for a period of six months, a position normally occupied by a major or GS12. Jun 2007 - Oct 20111st Infantry Division (BRO)Served as the command senior enlisted advisor to the senior director for an multi-functional logistics sustainment battalion of 850 Soldiers and employees, coordinating the missions of five companies spread across three countries (Iraq, Jordan and Kuwait), and maintained a $2 million budget in operational costs. Led and trained 2,000 Soldiers sustainment battalion at Fort Riley and in combat tours in Iraq and Kuwait providing exceptional financial, postal and logistical support. Developed concepts to embed senior 91B’s at Convoy Support Teams in AOR; resulting in stark improvement in convoy maintenance readiness that improved to 97% from previous numbers below 50%. Forward deployed 29 Soldiers to execute a CENTCOM directed mission to establish A/DACG in Oman to support OEF 2010 surge; saved U.S. Government $29.6 million in mobility cost. Provided leadership and guidance to employees who provided superior Logistics support to the training mission of Mobilized forces preparing for movement to Iraq and Afghanistan. Enforced common levels of support and service delivery/facility maintenance standards that resulted in a 25% improvement in customer satisfaction ratings. Championed evaluation criteria to measure various organizational policies, programs, and training that resulted in improved logistics service outputs and outcomes for customers. Initiated comprehensive logistics plans and orders and implemented associated standard operating procedures to ensure customer logistics requirements were met. Ensured command policies were encored; continually refined procedures and trained the battalion to execute the mission in a constantly changing environment. Evaluated operational effectiveness and coordinated with the key stakeholder customers for the efficient and effective management of materials enterprise. Directs Personnel Management Review for over 94 logistics job specific skill areas. Manages the gains, losses and assignment of all employees throughout five battalions. Conducts periodic reviews of all human resource actions to include awards program, periodic employee evaluation reports, employee records management, promotion advancement reports.
