  The title of the thesis is: "Asymmetric synthesis, and structure confirmation, of stigmatelline and crocacine C"I worked on the total synthesis of natural products. I successfully synthesized two inhibitors of the electron flow in the bc1 complex of cytochromes produced by myxobacteria: Stigmatelline (more than 40 steps) and Crocacine C (21 steps), from the same hydroxysulfone whose absolute configuration could be established inter alia by X-ray analysis, thus confirming the structure of two molecules.
