  • Analyzing project specifications, construction drawings, and all other related documents to gather necessary information to kick-start a project on Builders Exchange, Building connect & Plan Hub.• Working on gathering Quotes from suppliers by providing necessary data such as the Construction Drawings and filling the RFQ forms. Work on quantity take-off sheets by gathering the Model numbers from suppliers’ catalog and quantify them according to the Drawings and specifications. • Editing/Utilizing the CAD and PDF files to quantify the specified materials and create a data recap/ take-off list for the Material and labor costs. • Visiting the project sites to get additional information. • Estimating the approx. Material Quantity and Labor required for a project using software like Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD. • Reviewing the Proposals/Quotes from Suppliers and making sure the items/model numbers match the drawings and specifications.  • Developing the Scope letters/Proposals- Preparing a detailed scope letter by including every item that comes under the Bid category/Bid package by referring the specifications and drawings. Contact the General Trades contractors and the construction managers to share the Proposals/Final Bid numbers. Follow-up with the GCs and CMs and maintain a good relationship. • Attend post-bid meetings and collaborate with the GCs and or CMs to go over the Proposals to crosscheck all the items from the Bid Scope. • Preparing Estimator sheets/work logs for all the ongoing projects and record the status, notes, primary materials, and the bid dates. • Work on/validate the shop drawings to see if all the items from the Bid Package are included.
