This allowed me to work, socialize, and utilize media in Norwegian on a basic level. I became accustomed to a different way of higher education teaching. My classes were lecture heavy and very little work was ever assigned. I was expected to read the books and other readings myself and understand the material to participate in class discussions. Our grade was centered around one large project and a final exam consisting of several essays. Show less
