  Peaceful Paths is a certified domestic violence center focused on using empowerment and advocacy to create meaningful change. Working as a summer intern was a significantly insightful experience as I was exposed to numerous aspects of domestic abuse, including child advocacy, economic abuse, elder abuse, education, prevention, and law. I learned how to navigate sensitive situations and emphasize kindness through sitting in on intakes with survivors.
