      Oversaw 90+ staff, and a fleet of 30 delivery vans, whilst ensuring all working directives were met concerning repairs, roadworthiness and servicing, and that over 42000 items were shopped, processed, paid for and delivered daily.Key Responsibilities Managed and led a team of staff to deliver exceptional service and ensured all activities supported the achievement of objectives, utilised various methods of management and leadership, provided inspiration to sub-ordinates through initiatives, engaging dialogue and leading by example, facilitated all methods and processes for the team to achieve KPIs, disseminated company information/announcements to the team with full awareness of the need to be engaging. Provided on the job training to sub-ordinates and trainees, also raised any performance concerns and managed these effectively, ensured all staff rotas were in place at least 1 month in advance, and that all drivers had a rota that fitted with permitted driving hours.Key AchievementsPromoted from Driver to Home Delivery Section Manager.Contributed towards transforming the home delivery service from a paper-based system to a fully automated electronic system as Regional Lead.Trained and developed over 70 Drivers, and over 200 Home Delivery Shoppers.Introduced a new loading and unloading system, that prevented bottlenecks, and gave a smoother flow through the delivery bay, which saved around 6 driver hours per day. Responsibility for the safe completion of 14000 activities per day.Currently supporting the fleet management role as the business explores EV options.Key Responsibilities • Leading the divisional team to ensure the service provided to all customers meets the Service Level Agreement requirements and cost per activity KPIs with a 95% success rate.• Maintain professional relationships with all key stakeholders leading to a 22% increase in activity engagement.• Responsible for resource spending within a defined resource flex budget circa £3.5m consistently delivered at 100%.• Certifying all technical, legal and insurance matters are maintained to a satisfactory standard. 100% compliance in all audits has been attained to date.• Coaching all colleagues to make sure that all required training and compliances are completed, and a culture of high performing teams is realised. An average of 97% compliance has been the standard.• Continuously reviewing SLAs, current processes, and ways of working, whilst working to identify service and process improvement opportunities.
