  My second rotation in my clinical trials specialist apprenticeship has led me out of the GMASE (Global Monitoring and Site Engagement) and into the HBSM (Human Biological Sample Management) team. The role involves a plethora of activities required for the operational set-up and follow-up of study lab activities to support delivery of clinical results in a timely manner with the right quality and cost. Currently working as a CSS (clinical support specialist) to support the execution of clinical trials from the sponsor side. Alongside my role at GSK, I am studying for my BSc in Applied Biosciences from the University of Kent.
