      Freelance film/TV Producer, Line Producer & Production Manager. My experience encompasses a wide range of film genres: documentary specials and series, dramatised documentary, television "infotainment", reality TV, corporate and industrial videos, as well as a crossover into drama in both feature films and telemovies. I have managed budgets up to $30 million and staff and crew of up to 100 people.Projects include several large-scale documentary specials for the Discovery Channel, DIRECTED BY SCOTT HICKS, such as Emmy-award winning documentary series SUBMARINES, THE SPACE SHUTTLE and THE ULTIMATE ATHLETE - a stunning 2-hour special made for The Discovery Channel and screened during the Atlanta Olympics.I spent two years in the development and production of Africa’s Elephant Kingdom, the first IMAX made by The Discovery Channel. The film premiered in Los Angeles in April 1998 and is still screening in large format cinemas all over the world. After completing the critically-acclaimed 6-part social history series THE TRACK (Chapman Pictures/hilton Cordell for the ABC), I managed the 2-hour telemovie THE LOVE OF LIONEL'S LIFE for Network 10 Australia.       I previously held concurrent Executive Director roles for both Creative Content Australia and the MPDAA. Having left the ED role in March 2022, I now sit on the CCA Board as a non-executive director.Creative Content Australia is committed to raising awareness about the value of screen content and the impact content theft has on the creative industries. The organisation is supported by the Australian production, distribution and exhibition sectors.Creative Content Australia commissions annual research into the actions and attitudes of Australians to online content theft. These studies are shared with the community to inform the debate and dispel prevalent myths and preconceptions. The organisation also produces consumer campaigns and education resources for schools to stimulate discussion about and increase understanding of copyright. Show less
