Transferring critically unwell children to tertiary PICU units Staff Nurse on a busy 44 bed ward caring for children with surgical and medical acute and chronic conditions. Including care of children with oncological conditions and those requiring high dependency nursing care. Experience gained in caring for children with tracheostomies, ventilated children, transfer of the acutely unwell or deteriorating child, care of a central line.
