  A very insightful and necessary mentorship program whose mission is to reduce the education diversity gap within healthcare. As a pre-health student this program has provided me with an abundance of resources that continues to help me along my journey within healthcare. Along with the insurmountable amounts of resources provided, having a mentor alongside myself has been critical in navigating through the many challenges me and various other pre-health students are confronted with. A six week intensive program exposing high school and undergraduates to various careers within medicine and science. We are provided with valuable training necessary for future students of health to understand. Training specifically focused on topics such as stoping the bleed, administering naloxone, and learning how to suture.

  I assist in conducting outpatient calls to patients enrolled in Hospice care. My primary objective is to comprehensively assess a patients state of health encompassing both their emotional and physical well-being. This also includes assessing the resources available to a patient. Upon further assessment of the patient, advocating and coordinating with their care team to maintain quality of health is of utmost importance.
