      I worked as an intern at United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Bangladesh Programme Office, mainly supporting project activities of the Global Maritime Crime Programme, which works with the Member States on countering various transnational organized crimes committed at sea by providing skills development, equipment and normative support. I have also contributed to the implementation of projects on countering trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants, and on countering terrorism and preventing violent extremism. I assisted the UNODC team with logistical support, communication and coordination with different internal and external counterparts, support to event organization, drafting reports and web stories, making certificates and translating materials into English and Bangla. I also undertook research on the translation of Narcotics Law and relevant laws on maritime affairs. Show less
