Responsibilities included monitoring of contract performance, leading review meetings, challenging supplier behaviours to seek improvements and collaborative working to resolve issues quickly. Developed employee policies, researching best practice, conducting equality impact assessments, consulting different parts of the business, trade union negotiations, through to successful implementation of new policies. Led the development of the employee occupational health service physiotherapy pilot. Researched best practice from across public and private sector. Stakeholder engagement and management, including business representatives and analysts to set up appropriate evaluation methods. Successful delivery of the pilot led to the role out of the service across the department giving access to over 100,000 employees. Show less

Working on BEIS' Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Inspiration Programme, inspiring the next generation of young people, particularly girls and under represented groups, to study STEM subjects and raise awareness of the wide range of careers studying STEM can lead to. Delivering government policy on Growth Deals and Devolution. Working cross government and with Local Enterprise Partnerships and other local partners to encourage economic growth in Sheffield City Region. Contributed to the LEP’s success in securing £300m from government’s Growth Deal programme.
