  I gathered information from all the sources included in a project. For a high level switch on a tank in the plant, I consulted with the electrician, operators, maintenance workers, and other engineers to not only find the best solution for the issue but the safest as well. It was important to be able to read each person and know how to talk to him to get the information or action I wanted. After the installation of the switch and for the rest of my co-op, there were no issues with the tank where I installed the high level switch. Another project I led – which required me to troubleshoot our truck unloading process – I decided to travel to another Cargill facility to research their updated truck unloading system and incorporate it at our plant in Kansas City. In these experiences, I learned how to communicate effectively with others and utilize the right resources for a project. Show less
