  I managed my blog, Mollie's Ms. Conduct, on wisconsinprephockey.net by writing editorial pieces, feature stories and game previews and recaps. I engaged the readers with polls and questionnaires via social media and the website. I covered 1-5 games each week and participate in the weekly chat, This Week in Wisconsin Prep Hockey, where we discuss the happenings across the state and the current top 10 teams. I helped increase the unique visitors to the site by 75% in one season.

  I created and implemented a marketing and PR campaign to promote the Spartan Race event in Milwaukee at Miller Park. I managed a team of 5 interns in the execution of the campaign. Some of my tasks included the following: running social media initiatives on all platforms; enhancing local involvement by soliciting gym partnerships; assisting in the creation of web and email content; photographing workouts and events; speaking at fitness expos; recording interviews with local fitness professionals; and creating brand awareness to increase workout and race participation.   I assisted with the daily duties that allowed the team to run smoothly. During the week, I took inventory of new shipments, issued equipment to the players, organized and cleaned the locker room and equipment room, did laundry for the next day and assisted with anything that the coaches or equipment manager may have need. I also assisted the Sports Information Director with the creation of the media guide, compiling statistics and information about the players, team and organization. When I traveled with the team, I either compiled coaches statistics, ran the social media accounts or ran the live blog. Afterwards, I assisted with the post-game articles that are published on gophersports.com. I took numerous statistics -- shot placement chart, plus/minus, face-offs, computer input, etc. -- during the home games. Show less

  After analyzing the Community Foundation's communications strategies and situation, I created and implemented a new plan for promotion and marketing. Beginning phases on my work included lots of research so that I could best create an STP marketing plan. The final plan included redesigning the website, creating and running a blog, expanding the social media presence, creating set guidelines for social media posts and photographing events held by the Community Foundation.

  As the Marketing Coordinator at Pinstripes in Northbrook, I worked to bring our brand to the community through various efforts. In my first month, I drew in thousands of dollars in revenue through our referral program, grew our email database by nearly 1,000 and planned several events with newly-formed partners. I managed partnerships and marketing events from planning to execution by soliciting partnerships, finding events that match our target demographics and activating partnerships to bring guests into the venue. I also managed the referral program in Northbrook by on-boarding new partners and tracking active partners so that they could receive their rewards each period. The Marketing Director selected me to create the weekly online review report for our executive team and general managers. For this, I evaluated several online review sites and compiled a listing of positive and negative reviews for each location. After evaluating, I replied to each of the reviews and engaged in various forms of customer relations. Show less
