  The Path to Independence program at the University of Nevada, Reno is an inclusive, two-year, non-degree certificate program offering a college experience to students with intellectual disabilities. Educational Coach duties included attending classes with a student with a disability to help guide in note taking, class assignment management, comprehension and study sessions. Duties also included mentoring and assisting the student in utilizing other on campus resources to become more independent.

This is done through education and outreach efforts to provide families with information on lead poisoning in order to increase blood lead level testing in children under the age of six. Worked as the Northern Nevada Outreach Coordinator for the program.
