  On completion of schooling from Dehradun I got commissioned in Indian Navy on 07 Jan 1980. During 25 years of my stay in Indian Navy, I had an opportunity to serve as an Education Officer at INS Shivaji, Lonavla; INS Garuda, Kochi; INS Vikrant; Naval Headquarters and as a Principal of Sainik School Ghorakhal, Nainital. With a satisfying tenure in Indian Navy, I took premature retirement on 10 Feb 2005 and decided to continue in the field of Education as a Principal.

With a satisfying tenure in Indian Navy, I took premature retirement on 10 Feb 2005 and decided to continue in the field of Education as a Principal.Presently working as Principal, The Mann School, Delhi, since 01 Jun 2007. I had an honour to be the Chairman of the Indian Public Schools’ Conference (IPSC) from December 2015 to December 17, which was followed by honorary secretary and Joint Secretary of IPSC for a two year tenure each.Well motivated and result oriented professional in the field of Education with a mission to educate the young generation and guide them to be a better citizen of the country. Having got an opportunity to work in diversified environment for 25 years in the Indian Navy as an Education Officer and as a Principal, I gained experience horizontally and vertically, which had been the guiding principles of my work ethos. Ability to motivate and lead the subordinates towards goal has been my important ingredients. I have tried my best to bring laurels to the present and previous school by achieving 100% board results with remarkable distinctions. My vision with will to achieve it practically has been the motivating and guiding factor for the subordinates as well, who in turn were encouraged to produce the result. Being innovative and creative by nature helped me bringing up the remarkable improvement in the discipline among staff and students which further ensured the overall development of students.
