  I am responsible for the staffing and overall management of the practice area. I assure stewardship of resources and work with employees to ensure those resources are used appropriately. I am also responsible to ensure that the staff are clinically competent and that all high quality outcomes are met. As patient care manager, I work to develop my staff through ongoing coaching and mentoring. I practiced professional nursing to provide direct patient care with the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning,implementation, and evaluation. I coordinated all of the nursing care from the point of admission through discharge. I worked in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, appropriately delegated nursing care to other direct care team members.
